Mumbai, October 6, 2026: Škoda Auto India has announced prices for the new Škoda Slavia, with deliveries set to begin next week. Starting at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the updated sedan combines sharper European design, enhanced technology, performance, comfort and proven safety.
Built on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform, the new Slavia is offered in six variants — Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. The 1.0 TSI engine is available with a six-speed manual or an all-new eight-speed torque converter automatic, while the 1.5 TSI comes with a seven-speed DSG.
New 8-Speed Automatic and Enhanced Performance
The new Slavia retains its proven 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engine lineup. The 1.0 TSI gets the segment-first eight-speed torque converter automatic alongside the six-speed manual, while the 1.5 TSI is paired with a seven-speed DSG and rear disc brakes for enhanced braking confidence.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the new Slavia builds on the sedan’s established strengths of design, driving pleasure, comfort, safety and engineering, while adding sharper styling, smarter technology and the new eight-speed automatic transmission.
Sharper European Design
The new Slavia receives all-new LED headlamps and taillamps, sequential rear turn indicators, a horizontal chrome grille strip, revised front and rear styling and new alloy wheels. The Monte Carlo variant adds exclusive badging, red accents and black exterior elements.
The colour palette now includes two new shades — Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige — alongside eight existing colours. Deliveries of Cappuccino Beige are scheduled to begin in December 2026.
Enhanced Comfort and AI-Enabled Technology
A segment-first Rear Seat Massage function adds to rear-seat comfort, while the 360-degree Area View camera and Park Pilot with front and rear parking sensors assist with parking and low-speed manoeuvres. Higher variants feature a larger 26.03 cm Digital Cockpit.
The new Slavia also gets a 25.6 cm touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Its Voice Assistant, powered by Google Cloud’s Automotive AI Agent, brings Gemini into the vehicle for context-aware assistance, real-time information and hands-free control of music, calls and climate. The system is designed to recognise Indian English accents.
5-Star Safety and Comprehensive Ownership Package
The new Slavia retains its 5-star Global NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection. More than 25 active and passive safety features, including six airbags, are standard, while higher variants offer more than 40 safety features.
Škoda Super Care includes a 4-year/100,000-kilometre warranty, four years of Roadside Assistance and four free labour services for up to two years or 30,000 kilometres. The warranty can be extended to six years, with six-year corrosion and three-year paint warranties across all variants.
