Kolkata: Mahabir Danwar Jewellers (MDJ) celebrated love, companionship and togetherness with the grand finale of ‘Couple No. 1 – Season 5’, held at Fairfield by Marriott, Kolkata.
The fifth season marked the culmination of a two-month journey featuring challenges designed to celebrate couples, their understanding and shared bond. Following four successful editions, the latest season brought together the top 11 couples for the grand finale, with the winning couple earning an exciting trip to Baku.
The event featured a distinguished jury comprising actress Richa Sharma, celebrity motivational speaker Naina More, Radhika Nowlakha Agarwal, CEO, Benchmmark Group, and Rajeshwari Danwar, Design Head, Mahabir Danwar Jewellers.
The event was also attended by Vijay Danwar, Arvind Danwar, Sandeep Danwar and Amit Danwar, Directors, Mahabir Danwar Jewellers.
Speaking to the media, Vijay Danwar and Amit Danwar, Directors, Mahabir Danwar Jewellers, said that ‘Couple No. 1’ has evolved into a celebration of love, companionship and the unique journeys shared by couples. They congratulated all participants and winners while expressing hope that the couples continue to create memorable moments together.
Adding to the evening’s glamour, the male participants featured ensembles by Priyanka Harlalka, Official Male Apparel Partner, while the women showcased creations by Sequins & Pearls by Vivek, Official Female Apparel Partner.
The event was curated by San Entertainment LLP, a Kolkata-based event management and media curation company and the official event and media division of the Hindi daily newspaper Sanmarg.
‘Rajwada’ Bridal Jewellery Collection Unveiled
A key highlight of the evening was the unveiling of ‘Rajwada – The Bridal Jewellery Collection’ by Mahabir Danwar Jewellers. Designed for the modern bride, the collection combines elements of traditional Indian heritage with contemporary elegance. The collection presents a regal aesthetic while reflecting modern bridal sensibilities and individuality.
