India : Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has launched the 19th edition of its flagship School Contact Programme (SCP), bringing POGO and Cartoon Network directly into classrooms across India. The 2026 edition, which began in August, is set to engage 1 million children across 1,400 schools in 18 cities through interactive and immersive school experiences.

Now in its 19th year, the School Contact Programme has established itself as a prominent school outreach initiative in the kids’ entertainment space. The 2026 edition extends WBD’s experiential engagement with young audiences across cities including Delhi NCR, Dehradun, Patna, Chandigarh, Kochi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Kanpur, Lucknow, Chennai and Surat.

The programme features two distinct experiences tailored to the respective networks. POGO’s ‘Heroes of Kindness’ encourages children to embrace empathy, teamwork and everyday acts of kindness, while Cartoon Network’s ‘Titans of Tomorrow’ focuses on creativity, confidence and encouraging children to become changemakers.

Janhavi Vyas, Head of Marketing, South Asia, Warner Bros. Discovery, said, “At Warner Bros. Discovery, we believe the strongest connections are built when children experience our characters on screen and beyond, and our School Contact Programme is a key pillar of how we bring POGO and Cartoon Network to life for young audiences. By engaging 1 million kids through our beloved and new characters, we are deepening our connect with the next generation while instilling values of kindness, teamwork, creativity and confidence.”

She added that the initiative reflects WBD’s broader marketing approach of building lasting brand affinity by connecting with children both on-screen and through real-world experiences.

Designed as an immersive 40-minute in-school experience, the programme combines interactive games, character-led activities, audio-visual content and engaging challenges. The format enables students to actively participate while interacting with popular POGO and Cartoon Network characters, including Chhota Bheem, Little Singham, Sampat Champat, Omi, Teen Titans, Kian & Kiki and Ben 10, among others.

Tanaz Mehta, Head of Advertising Revenues, South Asia, Warner Bros. Discovery, said, “WBD’s School Contact Programme has become one of our most meaningful initiatives, allowing us to engage with children beyond the television screen in a fun, interactive and purposeful way. This year, through POGO’s Heroes of Kindness and Cartoon Network’s Titans of Tomorrow, we are encouraging values that help children grow into empathetic, confident and creative individuals.”

The programme also provides participating brand partners with an opportunity to engage with children and families through an interactive, school-based environment.

The 2026 edition of POGO’s Heroes of Kindness is presented by YiPPee! Noodles and co-powered by Act II Popcorn, Parle Candy Culture and Arun Ice Creams, with Santoor Hand Wash and Ziggy Donut Cake as associate sponsors. Cartoon Network’s Titans of Tomorrow is presented by Britannia Cakes, co-powered by Dettol and Candyman, with Bauli Moonfils as snack partner.

The 2026 School Contact Programme will continue across 18 cities between August and October 2026, giving students an opportunity to experience the worlds of POGO and Cartoon Network through games, challenges, character interactions and value-led activities.
