Ahmedabad : Creativity and innovation took centre stage at the BRDS Interior Design Exhibition 2026, which was held on September 13, 2026 (Sunday) at Shree Shakti Convention Centre, Ahmedabad. Organised by Bhanwar Rathore Design Studio (BRDS), the exhibition marked the ninth successful season of the event and brought together more than 3,000 design enthusiasts, emerging designers, industry professionals and leading brands.
A major highlight of the exhibition was the work presented by 300+ BRDS Interior Design students, who showcased their design concepts and creative skills through more than 500 displays. The exhibits featured furniture designs, township concepts, installations, best-out-of-waste creations, interior accessories, 3D models and detailed interior drawings.
The exhibition also provided a platform for leading brands from the interior and design industry to present their latest products, materials and solutions. Participating brands included Durian Laminates, Escozor Automations, Crowne Interiors, Morpho Furniture, Final Touch Tiles & Interior Solutions, Tablyn Curated Living, All About Bohemian and Ramat Homes, among others.
The interaction between students and industry professionals formed an important part of the exhibition. The platform enabled emerging designers to gain exposure to contemporary products, new technologies, materials and professional design practices while giving industry participants an opportunity to engage with the next generation of design talent.
With a combination of student-led creativity, innovative concepts, product showcases and industry participation, the BRDS Interior Design Exhibition 2026 highlighted the evolving interior design ecosystem in Ahmedabad. The event also reflected the growing role of design education in encouraging practical learning, experimentation and innovation among aspiring interior designers. The successful ninth season further strengthened the exhibition’s position as a platform connecting design education, emerging talent and the professional interior design industry in Ahmedabad.
