New Delhi: Dimple Goenka, Founder of Saaransh Foundation and Co-founder of Bholaram Education Society, has been conferred the Distinguished Fellowship of the International Forums of Inclusion Practitioners (IFIP) for her contribution to inclusive education and initiatives aimed at creating pathways for neurodiverse individuals.
The recognition was presented at the inaugural World Inclusion Conference (WIC) India 2026, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The conference brought together stakeholders from the education and inclusion ecosystem to discuss strategies for advancing inclusion across society.
The WIC India 2026 was organised by AFAIRS, IFIP’s exclusive Strategic Partner for the South Asia region. The conference served as a platform for educators, inclusion practitioners, institutions and organisations working towards building more inclusive systems.
Goenka’s fellowship recognises her work through Saaransh Foundation and Pehchaan, the foundation’s vocational arm, which focuses on education, skill development and pathways towards greater independence for neurodiverse individuals.
Through these initiatives, Saaransh Foundation has been working to strengthen opportunities for individuals with diverse learning and developmental needs, with an emphasis on education, vocational preparedness and dignified participation in society.
The recognition is also significant for Bholaram Education Society and Delhi Public School, Gandhinagar, reflecting their broader focus on fostering inclusive educational environments and opportunities.
The IFIP Distinguished Fellowship places Goenka among practitioners recognised for their contribution to the field of inclusion and further underscores the growing importance of inclusive education as part of India’s wider education and social development agenda.
