Bengaluru: Phoenix Mall of Asia, Bengaluru, hosted India Watch Weekend: Bangalore Watch Days from August 7 to 9, bringing together leading global watch maisons, independent watchmakers, collectors and enthusiasts for a three-day celebration of fine watchmaking.
Presented in collaboration with The Hour Markers, the festival featured an extensive line-up of international and contemporary watch brands, including Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Grand Seiko, Tudor, Hublot, Oris, Tissot, Baume & Mercier, Garmin, ID Genève and Hello.
The festival culminated with an exclusive appearance by actor and Longines Ambassador Sara Ali Khan, who interacted with guests, collectors and watch enthusiasts at Phoenix Mall of Asia.
Celebrating the Art of Watchmaking
The three-day festival featured a series of curated workshops and experiences designed around horology, craftsmanship and luxury lifestyle.
Highlights included the Panerai Watchmaking Masterclass, led by Sarosh Mody, Founder, Luxury Watch Works (LWW), along with a Panerai Whiskey Masterclass.
Grand Seiko presented The Art of Shodo and an Origami Workshop, offering guests an introduction to Japanese artistic traditions. Hello’s Strap Appreciation Workshop explored the materials, construction and design of watch straps, while the Jaeger-LeCoultre Quiz & Lunch brought collectors together for an interactive horology-focused experience.
The Baume & Mercier Coffee Rave combined coffee, music and conversations around watchmaking.
Interactive Experiences for Watch Enthusiasts
The festival also featured several immersive experiences, including the Oris PERCH Café Takeover, Tissot MotoGP Simulator, Hublot Live Sketch Artist, and Tudor Product Presentation & Claw Machine Experience.
Experiential pop-ups by Garmin and ID Genève further expanded the showcase across the mall.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritu Mehta, Centre Director, Phoenix Mall of Asia & Director Marketing (South), said the festival marked a significant milestone for the mall and brought together global brands, immersive experiences and India’s growing community of watch collectors. She added that the event reinforced Bengaluru’s position as an emerging destination for luxury retail and lifestyle experiences.
The festival welcomed prominent watch collectors and enthusiasts from across India, reflecting the growing interest in luxury timepieces and horological craftsmanship.
