India Successfully Test-Fires Agni-4 Medium-Range Ballistic Missile from Odisha

New Delhi : India on Thursday successfully test-fired the Agni-4 Medium-Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Odisha, marking another milestone in the country’s strategic defence capabilities.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the launch successfully validated all operational and technical parameters of the missile system. The test was conducted under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command (SFC), which is responsible for managing and operating India’s strategic missile arsenal.

The successful trial reaffirms the reliability and operational readiness of the Agni-4 missile system and reflects India’s continued focus on strengthening its strategic deterrence capabilities through indigenous missile development and regular operational validation.
