City-wide plantation initiative by Chiripal Group and Mirchi engages citizens, schools and corporates to promote environmental conservation
Ahmedabad: Reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability, Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha, a joint initiative by the Chiripal Group and Mirchi, successfully concluded another edition of its city-wide plantation campaign, bringing together citizens, educational institutions, corporate organisations and communities in a collective effort to create a greener Ahmedabad.
Over the years, Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha has evolved into one of Ahmedabad’s most impactful community-led environmental initiatives, encouraging people to adopt sustainable practices through plantation drives, awareness campaigns and active community participation.
As part of this year’s campaign, the initiative distributed free saplings through mobile canters at prominent locations across Ahmedabad, including Sabarmati Riverfront, Law Garden, Parimal Garden, Oxygen Park (SBR), Prahlad Nagar, AUDA Garden (Prahlad Nagar), and Shanti Corporate House, making it easier for citizens to contribute to the city’s green cover.
Expanding its outreach beyond public spaces, the initiative also organised plantation drives across schools and corporate offices, where students, employees and community members came together to plant saplings and reaffirm their commitment to environmental conservation. The campaign concluded with a special plantation event celebrating the collective participation of citizens, educational institutions and businesses, highlighting the importance of shared responsibility in building a cleaner, greener and healthier future.
By encouraging community participation and environmental stewardship, Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha continues to inspire individuals to become active contributors to sustainable urban development.
