Mumbai: Sterling Green Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (SGPS), part of the Sterling & Wilson Group, has inaugurated its second state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Talegaon MIDC near Pune as part of its multi-location expansion strategy to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and meet rising demand for reliable power solutions.
The newly inaugurated facility will manufacture diesel generator (DG) sets ranging from 100 kVA to 750 kVA, catering to commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, government, rental and infrastructure sectors. Equipped with advanced manufacturing technologies, the plant has an annual production capacity of around 1,000 units targeted at the retail market.
The Talegaon plant is the first milestone in the company’s long-term expansion roadmap. Sterling Green Power Solutions has also announced plans to establish additional manufacturing facilities at Chakan MIDC in Maharashtra and Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, where construction is expected to commence soon.
Speaking on the occasion, Khurshed Daruvala, Chairman, Sterling & Wilson Group, said the company has strategically planned a multi-location manufacturing expansion to cater to the growing demand across business segments. He added that the expansion would enhance manufacturing capabilities while maintaining the highest quality standards and delivering greater value to customers.

Sterling Green Power Solutions is focusing on key infrastructure and industrial sectors including airports, metro rail projects, townships, factories and commercial developments. The company also highlighted that the recently inaugurated Navi Mumbai International Airport is backed by its power solutions, reinforcing its growing presence in India’s critical infrastructure sector.
