Ahmedabad: Koraam, powered by Kosol Energie Pvt. Ltd., a Grade-A Tier-1 global solar manufacturer and one of India’s leading solar EPC and module manufacturing companies, has secured a 5.8 MW order from Sandip Electronics and Automation (SEA) for the supply of more than 1,200 Module Mounting Structures (MMS) for solar water pumping systems across Maharashtra.
The order marks a significant milestone in Koraam’s expansion within India’s agricultural solar sector and reinforces the company’s commitment to strengthening renewable energy infrastructure for the farming community.
Under the project, Koraam will manufacture and supply robust solar pump mounting structures designed for 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP solar pumping systems. Manufactured using High Definition Galvanized Iron (HDGI) and pre-galvanized steel, the structures are engineered to ensure superior durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance across diverse agricultural conditions.
The project is expected to support large-scale deployment of solar-powered irrigation systems, helping farmers transition towards sustainable and cost-effective irrigation while reducing dependence on conventional energy sources.
The solar mounting structures have been designed and approved by SVIT, Surat, with advanced engineering to ensure structural stability and reliability. Built in accordance with IS 2911 standards for pile foundation design, the structures are capable of withstanding wind speeds of up to 150 kmph, meeting stringent industry and tender specifications.
A key feature of the structures is their adjustable module tilt and orientation, allowing farmers to optimize solar panel positioning based on the sun’s movement throughout the year. This enhances energy generation efficiency and improves the performance of solar water pumping systems.

The successful execution of this order is expected to pave the way for larger opportunities in the coming financial year, including participation in future projects under the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
