Strengthening access to education across Gujarat with essential learning resources for underserved communities
Ahmedabad : Reinforcing its commitment to social impact and inclusive development, Dream Foundation has successfully reached more than 1,100 underprivileged students through its flagship initiative, Project Shiksha, as part of its ongoing efforts to bridge educational gaps and empower young minds across Gujarat.
Project Shiksha is a purpose-driven initiative aimed at enabling equitable access to education by providing essential learning materials to students from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Beyond material support, the initiative seeks to inspire confidence, nurture aspirations, and encourage students to pursue their academic journeys with determination. The programme was executed in three impactful phases, reaching diverse communities across the state.
In the first phase, Dream Foundation distributed notebooks to approximately 450 students at Ratanjina Muvada Primary School, located near Thasra, close to Dakor, ensuring students had the basic tools required for their studies.
The second phase extended support to 250 students from Dodiyapura Primary School and Kotwalna Muvada Primary School in Kapadvanj taluka of Kheda district. Volunteers from Dream Foundation actively engaged with students, fostering motivation and reinforcing the importance of education as a pathway to a better future.
Focusing on gender inclusion and empowerment, the third phase supported 120 girls residing at the Bhagini Samaj Girls Hostel in Sanand. In collaboration with the TTEC India Foundation, the Foundation distributed comprehensive educational kits including school bags, lunch boxes, water bottles, and fullscape notebooks, enabling the students to begin the academic year with confidence and dignity.
Further expanding its social outreach, Dream Foundation also distributed colour boxes and sketch pens to nearly 350 students at a school in Dadagram, encouraging creativity and holistic development alongside academic learning.
Speaking on the initiative, representatives from Dream Foundation emphasized that education is a powerful catalyst for social transformation. Through Project Shiksha, the organisation aims to not only provide resources but also instill hope, confidence, and ambition among students, empowering them to overcome challenges and build a brighter future.
With over 1,100 students positively impacted, Project Shiksha continues to reflect Dream Foundation’s vision of creating sustainable social change through education and community engagement.
