Kolkata: Following the remarkable success of its debut season, the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF) has officially announced the launch of Pitch To Get Rich Season 2, India’s first fashion-focused business reality show, with an unprecedented investment commitment of ₹100 crore for promising fashion entrepreneurs across the country.
Backed by celebrated actor and investor Akshay Kumar, filmmaker and entrepreneur Karan Johar, and a distinguished group of investors and industry leaders including Ravi Jaipuria, Naveen Jindal, Gaurav Dalmia, Sonali Dugar, Manju Yagnik, along with Vagish Pathak, Chairman of FEF, the second season aims to accelerate the growth of India’s next generation of fashion brands.
The newly announced ₹100 crore investment pool represents a 150 percent increase over the inaugural season, making it one of the largest funding initiatives dedicated to India’s fashion startup ecosystem. Through the platform, entrepreneurs will gain access not only to capital but also to expert mentorship, strategic business guidance, industry connections, brand-building support, and long-term growth opportunities.
Season 1 of Pitch To Get Rich showcased the effectiveness of FEF’s venture studio model, helping participating brands secure investments, mentorship, and accelerated market growth. Several brands including Love Kiki, Banana Club, DMO Dot, and others achieved significant milestones after becoming part of the FEF ecosystem.
With Season 2, the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund is looking to identify and support high-potential founders across multiple categories including apparel, footwear, accessories, couture, sustainable fashion, direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, and emerging lifestyle ventures with scalable business models.
Speaking about the launch, Akshay Kumar, Promoter and Investor, Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF), said, “India’s fashion entrepreneurs have the talent and ambition to build world-class brands. Through Pitch To Get Rich, we’re creating opportunities for founders to access the capital, mentorship, and support they need to scale. This ₹100 crore commitment is our investment in the future of Indian fashion.”
Sharing their vision for the initiative, Vagish Pathak, Chairman, Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF), and Sanjay Nigam, Founder, Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF), said, “India’s fashion industry is already worth over ₹10 lakh crore, yet there remains a significant gap in access to capital, mentorship, and growth opportunities for emerging brands. Through Pitch To Get Rich, we are building the platform we wish fashion entrepreneurs always had. Season 1 proved that when promising founders receive the right support, extraordinary outcomes follow. With Season 2, we are taking our biggest leap yet, committing ₹100 crore to help discover and scale India’s next generation of fashion success stories. We are not just investing in brands; we are investing in the future of Indian fashion.”
With larger investments, higher stakes, and unparalleled access to investors, mentors, and industry veterans, Pitch To Get Rich Season 2 is poised to become a launchpad for India’s most promising fashion businesses. Registrations for the upcoming season are now open, inviting aspiring fashion entrepreneurs from across the country to present their ideas and compete for funding, mentorship, and the opportunity to build nationally recognized brands.
