Mumbai : Škoda Auto India has announced the launch of the all-new Kodiaq RS, marking a significant expansion of its iconic RS performance lineup in the country. Carrying forward more than 50 years of RS heritage and over 125 years of motorsport excellence, the premium SUV combines high-performance engineering with seven-seat luxury and advanced 4×4 capability. Bookings for the Kodiaq RS will commence on June 22, 2026.
The Kodiaq RS is positioned as the fastest Škoda ever introduced in India, blending dynamic performance with everyday practicality. Designed for enthusiasts seeking luxury and versatility, the SUV embodies the brand’s motorsport DNA while offering enhanced all-terrain capability.

The latest Octavia RS, launched last year, sold out in just 20 minutes, highlighting its cult status among enthusiasts. Now, we’re taking that legacy forward with the Kodiaq RS, our first-ever seven-seater in India to wear the iconic RS badge and the quickest Škoda yet in the country. It blends performance, space, and 4×4 capability into a bold, unmistakable expression of our racing DNA.”

The five vehicles completed the challenge, including driver changeovers, in an impressive 12 minutes and 30.97 seconds at the CoASTT circuit in Coimbatore. The achievement also reinforced the brand’s campaign, “Greatest On A Track is a Škoda On A Track,” highlighting the engineering excellence and dynamic capabilities of its product portfolio.
