Gandhinagar: In a significant move aimed at strengthening industry participation in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), the Knowledge Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has announced the launch of its dedicated GIFT City Chapter. The initiative positions KCCI among the early industry chambers to establish a focused platform catering specifically to businesses and professionals operating within the rapidly evolving GIFT City ecosystem.
The newly launched chapter has been designed as a collaborative platform that will bring together industries, startups, investors, professionals, policymakers and institutions through business networking, policy dialogue, knowledge-sharing initiatives and investment-focused engagements. KCCI believes the initiative will bridge traditional industries with the fast-growing financial, fintech and innovation-driven ecosystem emerging within GIFT City.
The announcement was made during a Business Connect Evening attended by committee leaders, industrialists, entrepreneurs, professionals, members and distinguished dignitaries from various sectors. Discussions during the event focused on opportunities in international finance, fintech innovation, trade facilitation and emerging business sectors.
The event was graced by Dr. Mukesh Mahaling and Hiranmay Mahanta, who appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of innovation-led economic development, stronger institutional collaboration and increased industry participation. Speaking on the occasion, Anuj Sharedalal outlined his vision for strengthening the GIFT Committee and creating meaningful engagement opportunities for businesses, professionals and financial sector stakeholders. He highlighted the need for strategic partnerships that can help companies leverage the expanding opportunities available within GIFT City’s international business environment.
According to KCCI representatives, the chapter will organize a range of activities including business roundtables, investor interactions, networking forums, sector-specific conferences, policy advocacy initiatives and collaborative engagements with industry and government stakeholders. Special emphasis will be placed on supporting startups, MSMEs, fintech enterprises and young entrepreneurs seeking access to global markets.
The Business Connect Evening concluded with extensive networking among dignitaries and industry leaders, reflecting a shared commitment to positioning GIFT City as a leading destination for innovation, investment and international business collaboration through the newly established KCCI GIFT City Chapter.
