EDII marked the 11th National Handloom Day by uniting artisans, innovators, and design leaders to reimagine Indian handlooms for a global audience. The exhibition presented a vibrant tapestry of indigenous crafts, featuring:

  • Kohlapuri chappals
  • Channapatna toys
  • Badarwas jackets
  • Dahod pottery

These items reflect the cultural richness and regional diversity of India’s handmade heritage.

In a thought-provoking discussion with international participants from ongoing ITEC programmes, Distinguished Speaker Mr. Rohit Swarup, Founder and MD of Designversity, along with Dr. Etinder Pal Singh, Professor at EDII, and Dr. Piyush Sinha, Senior Professor at EDI, participated in an engaging dialogue. Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Associate Professor at EDII, is also involved in cluster development.
