Ahmedabad : Rotary Club Aadarsh Ahmedabad celebrated the beginning of the Rotary Year 2026-27 with a grand Installation Ceremony held at Hotel Grand Elegance, Ahmedabad, where the club’s new leadership team officially assumed office. The installation ceremony was led by District Governor Rtn Naimish Ravani of Rotary District 3055, who formally installed Rtn Subhojit Sen as President, Rtn Rupesh Shah as Secretary and Rtn Nrupesh Shah as Treasurer for the new Rotary year.
The event also witnessed the installation of 17 Board Members, along with the induction of six new Rotarian members under the leadership of Rtn Riya Asudani, Assistant Governor of Zone 2, Rotary District 3055. Immediate Past President Rtn Rachana Dave delivered the Vote of Thanks, while the annual report for Rotary Year 2025-26, highlighting the club’s major service initiatives and achievements, was presented by the newly installed President Rtn Subhojit Sen. The programme was efficiently compered and coordinated by Rtn Hetal Doshi.
The ceremony was attended by Past District Governors, Assistant Governors from various zones, Presidents of fellow Rotary clubs, club members and spouses, making it a memorable gathering of the Rotary fraternity.
Looking ahead, Rotary Club Aadarsh Ahmedabad announced an ambitious roadmap for Rotary Year 2026-27. The club plans to undertake impactful community initiatives, including the development of Oxygen Parks, traffic signal awareness and civic improvement projects, disease prevention programmes, educational support initiatives and activities aimed at strengthening economic empowerment within the community.
Guided by Rotary International’s theme, “Create Lasting Impact,” and Rotary District 3055’s theme, “Nirman,” the club reaffirmed its commitment to creating sustainable social change while continuing Rotary’s philosophy of “Service Above Self.”
