Ahmedabad : Umiya Mataji Sansthan, Sola has announced the construction and development of a magnificent Umiya Mataji Temple, modern boys and girls hostel buildings, and a well-equipped Umiya Party Plot aimed at strengthening religious, educational and social infrastructure for the community. The announcement was made in the presence of Sansthan President Shri Babubhai J. Patel (BJP), Vice President Rameshbhai Dudhwala, Minister Jayatibhai Patel, Joint Secretary Mukeshbhai Badu, Trustee C.K. Patel, Sola Campus Chairman P.C. Patel, Vice Chairman Pravin Patel (Ghatlodia), Coordinator Suresh Patel, Treasurer Hasmukh Patel, Organization President Pravinbhai, and Construction Committee Chairman I.C. Patel.

Speaking on the occasion, President Shri Babubhai J. Patel said that the upcoming Umiya Mataji Temple at the Sola Campus will be a remarkable example of traditional Nagar-style architecture. He stated that the temple will be constructed entirely without the use of iron and will instead utilize approximately 2 lakh cubic feet of premium pink stone sourced from Bansipahadpur.
The temple will measure around 255 feet in length, 160 feet in width and 132 feet in height. It will feature 92 intricately designed pillars and a spacious sanctum capable of accommodating nearly 500 devotees for darshan simultaneously. To ensure accessibility for senior citizens and differently-abled devotees, two lifts will also be installed within the temple premises.
Trustee Shri C.K. Patel highlighted that the construction of the modern hostel complex for students is nearing completion. The project comprises two basement levels, a ground floor and 13 upper floors with a combined construction area of approximately 4,33,914 square feet. The Boys Hostel spans 2,16,807 square feet, while the Girls Hostel covers 2,19,807 square feet.
The hostel facility will provide 400 fully furnished rooms, including 208 rooms for girls and 192 rooms for boys, accommodating a total of 1,600 students. Separate dining halls and two modern kitchens with a seating capacity of 1,600 students have also been planned.
To support academic excellence and holistic development, the campus will include three common e-libraries, modern gymnasiums for boys and girls, laundry and housekeeping services, 24-hour hot water and mineral water supply, guest waiting areas, and spacious basement parking facilities for 200 cars and 100 scooters.
The Sansthan also announced that the Umiya Career Development Council (UCDC) will operate from the campus to guide and train students preparing for UPSC and GPSC competitive examinations. Online admissions for the hostel facilities are currently underway. The annual fee for Non-AC rooms has been fixed at Rs. 65,000, while AC rooms will be available at Rs. 85,000 annually. In addition to the temple and hostels, the Sansthan has also developed a modern Umiya Party Plot designed to host social and cultural functions. The venue features a lush green lawn spread across 40,000 square feet with a capacity to accommodate around 2,000 guests.
The party plot also includes extensive parking arrangements, a 1,760 square feet office and room area, two special air-conditioned rooms for the bride and groom, a 2,575 square feet modern kitchen and storeroom, along with a spacious and hygienic washroom area measuring 1,710 square feet. The integrated development at Umiya Mataji Sansthan, Sola is expected to emerge as a landmark center for spirituality, education and social gatherings in Ahmedabad.
