BYD India Announces Price Revision Across Passenger Vehicle Portfolio Effective July 1, 2026

New Delhi: BYD India, the Indian subsidiary of global New Energy Vehicle (NEV) leader BYD, has announced a price revision across its electric passenger vehicle portfolio, effective July 1, 2026. The increase, attributed primarily to sustained foreign exchange fluctuations, will range between 1% and 2% depending on the model and variant.

In a move aimed at supporting customer planning and maintaining pricing certainty, the company confirmed that customers who complete bookings during May and June 2026 will continue to benefit from existing prices, provided vehicle deliveries are completed on or before July 31, 2026. However, bookings made from July 1 onward will be subject to the revised pricing structure.

Commenting on the development, Rajeev Chauhan said, “This price revision is in lieu of foreign exchange fluctuations. Even in a challenging market environment, BYD India remains focused on delivering high-value, advanced, safe, and premium electric mobility solutions to customers.”

He further added that the company continues to witness strong market traction for products such as the BYD ATTO 3 and the recently launched BYD SEALION 7, indicating rising consumer confidence in premium electric mobility solutions in India.

BYD India has steadily strengthened its presence in the country through a growing portfolio of technologically advanced NEVs that combine performance, safety, sustainability, and connected mobility experiences. The company’s proprietary innovations — including the Blade Battery, Cell-to-Body integration technology, and 8-in-1 electric powertrain architecture — remain key differentiators in its premium EV lineup.

These technologies are designed to deliver faster charging capabilities, enhanced driving range, superior cabin space optimization, and smarter connected features across BYD’s electric vehicle ecosystem.

On the global front, BYD continues to push the boundaries of sustainable mobility innovation with advancements such as its second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technologies, reinforcing its focus on safer, more efficient, and high-performance NEV solutions worldwide.

The company currently operates through a network of 48 dealerships across 40 Indian cities, offering integrated sales and after-sales support services nationwide. The expanding footprint aligns with BYD India’s long-term strategy of enhancing accessibility and elevating customer ownership experiences across the country.

Additionally, BYD India is expanding its “BYD Pioneers Club” initiative — a dedicated community engagement platform aimed at bringing together EV enthusiasts and customers through curated experiences, drive events, knowledge-sharing sessions, and sustainability-focused activities.
