115 Children from 6 States Participate in EDII Ahmedabad’s 46th National Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Stimulation

Ahmedabad, May 8, 2026: Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, successfully organised the 46th National Summer Camp on “Entrepreneurial Stimulation for Children” from May 3 to 8, 2026. A total of 115 children in the age group of 12 to 16 years from six states across India participated in the residential summer camp.

The camp was designed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking, leadership qualities, creativity and life skills among children through a series of engaging and experiential activities. Participants took part in mental gym exercises, motivational sessions, puzzles, value education, industry visits, success story learning modules and idea presentation activities.

As part of the programme, children also interacted with leading entrepreneurs and achievers to understand the importance of resilience, innovation, decision-making and problem-solving in life and entrepreneurship.

The valedictory session was graced by Chief Guest Vijay Gupta, Founder of Honest Restaurants. Addressing the participants, he said, “At your age, attending such camps is important because true learning unfolds here. These camps help children develop life skills, emotional stability, critical thinking and decision-making abilities that are essential for success in life.”

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, stated, “EDII’s summer camp is designed to unlock the potential of ambitious children by nurturing entrepreneurial traits and life skills in a vibrant and interactive environment. The 46th summer camp empowered children with confidence, clarity and future-ready skills.”

Dr. Pankaj Bharti, Camp Leader, expressed happiness over the enthusiastic participation of the children and their eagerness to learn throughout the programme.

EDII has so far groomed more than 3,228 children from across India and abroad through its entrepreneurial stimulation summer camps, making it one of the pioneering initiatives in entrepreneurship education for children.
