New Delhi : Rajnath Singh paid tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, stating that the unmatched valour and indomitable spirit of soldiers have marked Operation Sindoor as a golden chapter in India’s military history. Addressing the ‘Shaurya’ event in New Delhi ahead of the operation’s first anniversary, he emphasised the government’s firm resolve to eliminate terrorism under the leadership of Narendra Modi.

Highlighting the ethos of “Nation First, Service Before Self,” the Raksha Mantri praised the dedication and patriotism of the armed forces, noting their role not only in safeguarding the nation but also in providing humanitarian assistance during natural disasters in India and abroad. He described this dual commitment as a defining characteristic of India’s defence forces.
The event brought together senior defence officials, personnel and renowned artists including Anup Jalota, Kailash Kher, Harshdeep Kaur and Manoj Muntashir. Emphasising the connection between art and valour, Rajnath Singh noted that music and marching songs strengthen unity among soldiers, transforming individual identity into collective strength.
The programme was attended by key dignitaries, including Anil Chauhan, AP Singh, Rekha Gupta, Rajesh Kumar Singh and Dhiraj Seth.
