Ahmedabad: Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), under the aegis of Centre for Research in Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CREED), is organising the ‘Case Writing Workshop 2026’ from April 29 to May 1, 2026, as part of the 2nd Case Connect on Entrepreneurship 2026.

The workshop has witnessed strong academic participation, with a total of 69 case leads received, out of which 55 have been selected. The participating scholars and researchers represent 40 universities across the country, reflecting the growing interest in case-based research and pedagogy in entrepreneurship education.
The programme is designed to provide comprehensive insights into the fundamentals of case writing, including effective structuring, analytical frameworks, and the development of impactful teaching notes. Participants are engaged through model case analysis, group discussions, systematic draft reviews, and one-on-one mentoring sessions aimed at refining their work. The pedagogy emphasises interactive learning, peer engagement, and intensive mentoring.
The submitted cases are being reviewed by eminent academicians including Dr. Satyajit Majumdar, Dr. Amitabh Deo Kodwani, and Dr. Gordhan Kumar Saini. The workshop also features expert sessions and panel discussions, offering participants valuable perspectives on case development and research methodologies.
The workshop is coordinated by Ganapathi Batthini, who is overseeing the academic and operational aspects of the programme. Through initiatives like Case Connect on Entrepreneurship, EDII continues to strengthen its commitment to advancing research-driven entrepreneurship education and fostering academic excellence in India.
