Swarrnim University Hosts Seminar on Homoeopathy Beyond Human Health in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar, April 25: Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University’s Arihant Homoeopathic Medical College organised a seminar on “Research and Potential of Homoeopathy beyond Human Health,” delivered by Dr. Shivang Swaminarayan, a noted homoeopathic physician and clinician-entrepreneur from Gujarat.

The seminar saw active participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students, along with faculty members from Homoeopathy, Agriculture, Management, and AYUSH streams, underscoring the university’s multidisciplinary academic ecosystem. Dr. Amita Peters, Principal, welcomed the speaker and highlighted the importance of cross-disciplinary learning.

Dr. Swaminarayan elaborated on the expanding scope of homoeopathy beyond clinical practice, focusing on its applications in veterinary science, agriculture, and public health within the One Health framework. He emphasised its relevance in addressing sustainability challenges, enhancing climate resilience, and improving soil health in alignment with national development priorities.

Sharing practical insights, he presented case-based examples of homoeopathic interventions in crop cultivation, including rice, strawberry, and tomato, demonstrating improved yield, enhanced pest resistance, and reduced dependency on chemical inputs.

He further discussed the potential of homoeopathy in tackling issues such as pollution and antimicrobial resistance, while contributing to biodiversity conservation. Encouraging students to adopt a research-driven approach, he urged them to explore innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging Dr. Swaminarayan’s contributions to integrative healthcare and applied research.
