Where Impact Meets Inspiration: Dream Foundation Hosts Shakti Awards 2026

Ahmedabad: Dream Foundation on Saturday organised the Shakti – The Spirit of Empowerment Awards 2026 at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), recognising 11 women achievers for their contributions across sectors including healthcare, education, media, finance, arts, and social impact.

The event was attended by Vaishnavacharya Pujya Yadunath Mahodaya, speaker Rekhaben Desai, senior gynaecologist Dr. Leena Patel, educationist Dr. Geetika Saluja, and Wing Commander Abhishek Tiwari, among others. The Shakti Awards aim to recognise women demonstrating leadership, professional excellence, and sustained impact in their respective domains.

“Women empowerment is a key driver of inclusive and sustainable development. Through the Shakti Awards, we seek to recognise individuals creating tangible impact across sectors,” said Nirav J. Shah, Founder, Dream Foundation.

Awardees included Sonali Mohanty (HR & Soft Skills Development), Dr. Mitali Vasavada (Healthcare), Lipi Goyal (Voice & Performing Arts), Happy Rabari and Lucky Rabari (Cultural Heritage & Folk Art), Birva Mehta (Social Impact), Dhairya Rathod (Media & Journalism), Swati Panchal (Finance & Startup Ecosystem), Maya Joshi (Education), Anjali Kothari (Wellness Coaching), and Khushboo Vaidya (EdTech & Innovation).

The 2026 edition marks the inaugural Shakti Awards and coincides with the completion of two years of Dream Foundation’s operations. The event saw participation from stakeholders including volunteers, partners, donors, and members of the community. Dream Foundation said it continues to undertake initiatives across education, healthcare, self-reliance, and women empowerment. Its flagship programme, “Pasti Se Padhai Tak,” is focused on expanding access to education and enabling long-term, sustainable social impact.
