Under Project Hoonf, the Dream Foundation partners with TTech India Foundation to distribute warm clothing.
Ahmedabad: The heartfelt initiatives of Dream Foundation, a well-known social organisation in the city, are reaching out to rural communities. As part of Project Hoonf, Dream Foundation, in partnership with TTech India Foundation, provided warm clothing to around 200 children. These children, who attend Sarvodaya Kelvani Mandal, a Government Secondary School located in Pilodara, Balasinor, Mahisagar district—approximately 100 kilometres from Ahmedabad—received fashionable hoodies to protect them from the winter chill. The teachers and trustees of the school actively engaged in this effort and expressed their gratitude for the support from both Dream Foundation and TTech India Foundation.
Yug Chavda, CSR Lead at TTech India Foundation, stated, “This year, winter has begun with an intense chill, and we are thrilled to partner with Dream Foundation for Project Hoonf. We were especially touched by the warmth of emotions and the bright smiles that followed the distribution of sweaters to the children.”
The sweaters have been given to children from families engaged in agriculture and farm labor. For numerous children, meeting even basic needs can be a struggle, yet initiatives like this truly impact their lives. Dream Foundation is a grassroots social organization dedicated to ensuring that essential resources are delivered to those who need them most at the right moment. This is why we are thrilled to partner with them on Project Hoonf.
Karan Patel from the Dream Foundation shared, “The term Hoonf embodies the essence of belonging to oneself. Each winter, our organization extends a helping hand to those in need through Project Hoonf. Our mission is to provide education and health services to children, and this year, we have initiated Project Hoonf by reaching out to secondary school students located far from the city. We are committed to continuing this effort to shield them from the cold during the winter months.”
In a heartwarming initiative, Project Hoonf has been launched with the primary objective of shielding children from the severe winter conditions while ensuring they receive essential health and educational services. This commendable effort is a collaborative endeavor involving approximately 15 dedicated members from the Dream Foundation and TTech India Foundation. Their active participation highlights a commitment to protecting and nurturing the well-being of young ones during the challenging winter months.
