VFS Global, a worldwide leader in reliable technology services that enhances secure mobility for both governments and citizens, has entered into a co-branding agreement with the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. This partnership aims to bolster and broaden the brand awareness of Indonesian tourism through the Wonderful Indonesia campaign, ultimately enhancing international arrivals and attracting investments to the country.
As outlined in the agreement, VFS Global will assist in enhancing the brand awareness of the Wonderful Indonesia campaign while also boosting the quality and quantity of tourism marketing through strategic brand partnerships.
The agreement was officially signed on August 13, 2025, in Jakarta, between Ni Made Ayu Marthini, the Deputy Minister for Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, and Mr. Kaushik Ghosh, the Head of Australasia at VFS Global.

Since 2024, VFS Global has also been an official partner of the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration. As part of the partnership, VFS Global has launched a new e-VoA platform for nationals of all the 97 countries eligible for e-VoA, to provide them a quicker and smoother visa application journey online.

In 2024, Indonesia welcomed 13.9 million international tourists, a 19% increase from the previous year and the highest number recorded in the past 5 years, according to the Ministry of Tourism. This strong performance has emboldened the government to set even more ambitious targets for 2025. Indonesia is now expecting to welcome between 14.6 and 16 million foreign visitors in 2025.
India stood as the largest South and Central Asian market and the sixth largest globally for Indonesia, accounting for over 710,688 Indian tourists in 2024. The Ministry of Tourism anticipates welcoming 918,480 Indian travellers in 2025.
