Mumbai : LTM, the business creativity partner to some of the world’s largest enterprises, has announced the rollout of Universal AI, an advanced online learning programme by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Open Learning, for its workforce in collaboration with upGrad Enterprise.

The initiative is part of LTM’s broader strategy to institutionalise AI fluency and first-principles thinking across its organisation, equipping employees in both technical and non-technical roles with the capabilities required to operate effectively in an AI-driven business environment.

Designed by MIT Open Learning faculty, the Universal AI programme is a self-paced, modular learning experience comprising 16 foundational modules along with industry-specific applications. The curriculum focuses on building a strong understanding of how AI systems function, the underlying technologies, and the ethical considerations surrounding their deployment. The programme is accessible to professionals across skill levels and does not require prior coding expertise.

LTM aims to leverage this initiative to strengthen data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and innovation capabilities, enabling its teams to deliver enhanced value to clients through more informed and logic-based approaches.

Commenting on the development, Gururaj Deshpande, Chief Delivery Officer, LTM, said, “With AI evolving at an unprecedented pace, human judgment remains central to achieving meaningful and optimised outcomes. We are pleased to partner with LTM in deploying this programme and driving outcome-based workforce transformation.”

upGrad Enterprise will facilitate the delivery and implementation of the programme, ensuring seamless access to MIT-grade learning and enabling LTM to scale AI capability development across its workforce.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive credentials from MIT Open Learning, certifying their proficiency in foundational AI concepts and their readiness to apply AI-driven thinking in real-world business scenarios.

This initiative underscores LTM’s commitment to continuous learning, digital transformation, and building a resilient, future-ready talent ecosystem, aligned with the evolving demands of the global business landscape.
