National, March 30, 2026: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, continues to expand its footprint in Gujarat, now operating to and from six key cities in the state — Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, and Jamnagar (effective April 23, 2026).

The airline currently operates over 700 weekly direct flights from Gujarat, connecting passengers to 30+ domestic destinations, along with international connectivity to Dubai from Ahmedabad. This expansion significantly enhances seamless travel for both business and leisure passengers while reinforcing Gujarat’s role as a major hub for manufacturing, trade, ports, and global diaspora movement.

Further strengthening its network, IndiGo has introduced over 50 weekly flights to Navi Mumbai International Airport, in addition to its existing services to Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. This move improves connectivity between Gujarat and India’s financial capital, offering passengers greater flexibility and convenience.

Gujarat continues to emerge as a key center for finance, industry, tourism, and culture. IndiGo’s growing network supports critical economic corridors, including improved access to GIFT City, a rapidly developing global financial hub. At the same time, tourist destinations like the Rann of Kutch are becoming more accessible to travellers nationwide and internationally.

By connecting Gujarat’s economic, cultural, and tourism hubs to a broader network, IndiGo is playing a vital role in regional development while offering customers enhanced travel options, convenience, and connectivity.
