Kolkata : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Charnock Hospital, marking a significant milestone in advancing research-led healthcare innovation and clinical excellence in India.
The MoU was formalized on March 26, 2026, in the presence of Prof. Suman Chakraborty, Director, IIT Kharagpur, and Mr. Prashant Sharma, Managing Director, Charnock Hospital.
This collaboration aims to bridge the critical gap between cutting-edge academic research and its real-world clinical application. Under the partnership, IIT Kharagpur will leverage its expertise in healthcare technologies and translational research within the clinical ecosystem of Charnock Hospital.
