Pune/Mumbai, March 26, 2026: Bajaj Finserv will announce the winner of its flagship digital music talent platform, Bajaj Dhuniverse, at a grand finale in Mumbai on March 31, marking the culmination of one of India’s largest digital-first talent discovery initiatives.
Conceptualised as a technology-led platform to democratise access to music opportunities, Bajaj Dhuniverse attracted over 60,000 participants nationwide, enabling aspiring artists—from metropolitan centres to remote regions—to audition through digital submissions. The initiative reflects the company’s broader strategic focus on leveraging digital platforms to nurture talent and build aspirational ecosystems.
The finale will feature live performances by ten finalists and one wild-card entrant, all shortlisted through a multi-stage evaluation process led by renowned composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The winner will be conferred the title of ‘Voice of the Nation’ and ‘Voice of Bajaj’.
The winning artist will also gain access to significant industry opportunities, including:
- Recording an independent album with Zee Music Company
- Collaborating with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy on a Spotify release
- Co-creating Bajaj Finserv’s sonic identity as the ‘Voice of Bajaj’
Commenting on the initiative, Manav Mianwal, President – Digital Platforms, Bajaj Finserv, said:“Bajaj Dhuniverse is part of our long-term vision to invest in platforms that unlock potential and create new role models. The strong response in its first year reinforces our commitment to scaling this initiative and expanding access to opportunities across India.”
Industry veterans associated with the platform highlighted the depth and diversity of talent discovered through the initiative.
Shankar Mahadevan said the digital-first format enabled “genuinely inclusive participation,” bringing forward voices that may otherwise have remained undiscovered.
Ehsaan Noorani noted the “extraordinary range and commitment” demonstrated by participants across geographies.
Loy Mendonsa added that the platform has created “a meaningful pathway for emerging musicians to be recognised at a national level.”
Entries for Bajaj Dhuniverse were open from November 7, 2025, to January 8, 2026, garnering over 60,000 submissions without reliance on television-led amplification or large-scale mass campaigns. The platform utilised a structured and transparent digital evaluation framework to shortlist the top 100 contestants, who were further mentored through a digital episodic format.
From this pool, 10 finalists and one wild-card entrant have been selected for the finale. The March 31 event will be hosted as a live on-ground showcase in Mumbai and streamed nationwide, positioning Bajaj Dhuniverse as a scalable, digital-first model for talent discovery in India’s evolving creator economy.
