Ahmedabad: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), through its Art, Culture and Handicraft Committee, has inaugurated a four-day art exhibition in Ahmedabad aimed at promoting art and cultural exchange across Gujarat.
The exhibition is being held at Satya Art Gallery, located at Navjivan Trust (behind Gujarat Vidyapith, Ashram Road Off), Navrangpura, from March 19 to March 22, 2026. It is open to visitors daily between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM.The exhibition brings together 19 talented artists, collectively showcasing over 50 artworks spanning diverse styles, themes, and creative expressions. The display includes a wide range of paintings and artistic forms, offering visitors an immersive experience into contemporary and traditional art practices.
Renowned art curators Anuj Ambalal and Vivek Desai, along with noted wildlife photographer Saurabh Desai, are mentoring the participating artists, adding significant value and guidance to the initiative. Speaking about the exhibition, Ms. Swati Sethawala, Chairperson of the committee, stated that the initiative aims to provide artists from Surat a broader platform to showcase their work across Gujarat. She emphasized that such exhibitions play a crucial role in strengthening cultural appreciation and connecting artists with wider audiences.
The exhibition is expected to attract art enthusiasts, collectors, and the general public, offering them an opportunity to engage closely with diverse artistic perspectives and creative narratives. SGCCI has extended an open invitation to art lovers and citizens to visit the exhibition and support emerging and established artists.
