KONAMI Launches India eFootball Campaign with Rinku Singh, Varun Chakravarthy & Lionel Messi Card Event

Windsor: Konami Digital Entertainment, B.V. (KONAMI) has unveiled a new India-focused campaign for its flagship football simulation title, eFootball™, bringing together prominent cricket personalities and regional entertainment stars to engage fans across the country.

The campaign features Indian cricketers Rinku Singh and Varun Chakravarthy, alongside Malayalam actors Naslen Gafoor and Chandu Salim Kumar. They are joined by footballers Sahal Abdul Samad and Shubhasish Bose, creating a diverse cross-industry collaboration aimed at expanding the game’s reach in India.

As part of the initiative, KONAMI is rolling out localized digital content, influencer collaborations, and community engagement activities, with a strong focus on key markets such as Kerala and West Bengal. The campaign partners with fan communities and creators including Mohammad Rizwan, RJ Praveen, Black Mamba Gaming, Mallu PES Master, LiarsFC, and Manjappada. In addition, players can participate in special in-game challenges offering exclusive rewards, enhancing user engagement during the campaign period.

To mark the launch, a limited-time in-game card of global football icon Lionel Messi is available to players worldwide from March 12 to April 2. The campaign and associated content are now live across mobile, console, and PC platforms. With this initiative, KONAMI aims to deepen its footprint in India’s rapidly growing gaming ecosystem by blending sports, entertainment, and digital communities.
