Mumbai : Content India 2026, organised by Dish TV in collaboration with C21Media, concluded successfully, bringing together over 700 participants from India and international markets for a three-day exchange of ideas, insights, and industry trends shaping the future of content creation.
The summit served as a key platform for executives, creators, producers, and filmmakers to deliberate on evolving content strategies, international format adaptations, financing frameworks, and the rapidly expanding creator economy. Discussions highlighted how global content formats are increasingly being tailored for Indian audiences, alongside the growing involvement of venture capital and private equity in the entertainment sector.
Across multiple sessions, speakers examined emerging trends such as digital-first storytelling, the rise of micro-drama and vertical video formats, and the integration of artificial intelligence in content production workflows. Industry leaders also shared perspectives on commissioning strategies, co-production opportunities, and new monetisation models amid shifting audience consumption patterns.
The event featured participation from prominent industry voices including Shilangi Mukherji, Anuj Gandhi, Deepak Dhar, Fiona Campbell, Sahira Nair, Rajaraman Sundaram, Sai Abishek, Vishnu Mohta, Tarun Sawhney, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Tanya Bami, Richie Mehta, Sameer Nair, Arjun Nohwar, Niharika Pande, and Aruna Daryanani, among others.
Two major highlights of the summit included the Content India Copro Pitch, where creators presented original scripted and unscripted concepts to an international jury, and a Writers Room Masterclass conducted by acclaimed writer-producer Frank Spotnitz, offering practical insights into collaborative storytelling and television writing processes.
