The operation is being managed by the Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), reflecting India’s growing expertise in handling complex maritime operations with high safety standards and operational efficiency. STS transfers are critical in modern shipping, enabling seamless cargo movement between large vessels while reducing port congestion and turnaround time.

He interacted with the ship’s captain and crew, reviewing safety protocols, preparedness, and operational readiness. His visit reinforced confidence and provided strategic direction to the executing teams.

The successful execution of such large-scale energy transfer operations highlights India’s progress under flagship initiatives like Atmanirbhar Bharat and PM Gati Shakti, strengthening the nation’s logistics backbone and maritime excellence.

India is steadily positioning itself not only as a major energy consumer but also as a reliable and strategic hub in the global energy supply chain.
