In 1989, Abhipsa founded SAANIDHYA – A Group of Performing Arts, an institute dedicated to teaching Indian folk dances from different regions of the country. Over the years, more than 2,000 students have trained under her guidance, learning traditional forms such as Garba, Ghumar, Bihu, Bhangra, and Lavani, helping young performers stay connected with India’s vibrant cultural heritage.

Her contribution goes beyond performance and teaching. As a Trustee of the Gujarat Lok Kala Foundation, she actively works to support rural folk artists by providing them with platforms to showcase their talent and sustain their livelihoods. Through ABHI’s Creations, Abhipsa has also empowered rural women artisans by promoting traditional Kutchi embroidery, enabling them to earn sustainable incomes through handcrafted Navratri and wedding costumes.

Honored with recognitions including the Rashtriya Gaurav Puruskar and Women of Excellence Award, Abhipsa Dave continues to inspire by proving that dedication to culture can empower communities and keep India’s artistic heritage alive for generations to come.
