New Delhi : IndiGo has announced the launch of daily direct flights between Jamnagar and Navi Mumbai, starting April 23, 2026, further strengthening regional connectivity in western India. With this addition, Jamnagar becomes IndiGo’s sixth destination in Gujarat, joining Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and recently announced Bhavnagar in the airline’s expanding Gujarat network.
The new route will be operated using the airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft, providing convenient travel for business and leisure passengers while improving access to IndiGo’s extensive domestic and international network via Navi Mumbai. Jamnagar plays a significant role in Gujarat’s industrial landscape, with strong contributions from sectors such as energy, petrochemicals, ports, and manufacturing. The direct connection to Navi Mumbai — a major economic hub — is expected to further facilitate trade, investment, and tourism, while strengthening economic linkages between the two regions.
Commenting on the announcement, Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, said: “Following the recent addition of Bhavnagar to IndiGo’s growing domestic network, we are pleased to introduce daily direct connectivity between Jamnagar and Navi Mumbai. This new route further strengthens our presence in western India and enhances connectivity to and from Gujarat. With Jamnagar joining our network, IndiGo now serves six airports in the state. The service reflects our continued commitment to expand our domestic footprint by linking key regional centres with major metros while delivering a reliable and seamless travel experience.”
