Industry Commentary

Commenting on the January performance, Mr. Pranav H. Shah, Chairperson, FADA Gujarat“Post GST cut positive movement in automobile market is continue, particularly in two-wheeler industry. Two-wheeler is price sensitive and hence after GST reforms, 2w retail grew in much faster pace. Three-wheeler, Commercial vehicles and tractor also registered good growth over last year. This is because of overall growth in economy, good agriculture outcome, tractor subsidy etc. Car growth was stagnant as post year end usually customers wait for new model launch. However, we are expecting double digit growth in all segments in current financial year. Rural market is also contributing higher growth on overall retail.”
