Changa : Charotar Institute of Languages, Arts and Social Studies (CLASS), Faculty of Humanities, Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), will host a one-day International Conference titled “Interdisciplinary Approaches to English: Language, Culture, Technology and Society (IAE-LCTS)” on February 7, 2026, at its Changa campus.
The conference will be conducted in hybrid mode, enabling participation from scholars, academicians and researchers from across India and overseas, reinforcing CHARUSAT’s growing focus on global academic collaboration and interdisciplinary research. The event aims to create a knowledge-sharing platform bringing together experts, educators and students to examine emerging intersections across English Studies, Language, Literature, Culture, Digital Humanities, Technology, Pedagogy and Society. The conference will feature keynote addresses by leading scholars, research paper presentations, thematic academic sessions and networking opportunities for participants.
As part of its academic recognition framework, the conference will confer Best Paper, Best Presentation and Young Researcher Awards across multiple tracks, along with publication opportunities aligned with conference guidelines. The conference is being organised under the guidance of CHARUSAT President Shri Surendrabhai Patel, Provost Dr. Atul Patel and Registrar Dr. Binit Patel. Dr. Bhaskar Pandya, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Principal, CLASS, is serving as the Organising Chair.
The initiative underscores CHARUSAT’s commitment to strengthening interdisciplinary scholarship, encouraging research-driven dialogue and fostering academic partnerships at both national and international levels.
