Bengaluru : Hexagon, a global leader in measurement technologies, has officially launched its advanced metrology solution, the ATS800, for the Indian market at IMTEX Forming 2026, one of the country’s leading manufacturing and machine tool exhibitions.

While the ATS800 has already been introduced globally, IMTEX Forming 2026 marks its formal debut for Indian manufacturers. The launch ceremony was attended by Pramod Kaushik, President, Hexagon India, Manoj Sharma, Director – Marketing and Sales Excellence, along with senior leadership and industry stakeholders.

The exhibition is being held until January 25, 2026, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), where Hexagon is showcasing the ATS800 at Hall 3A, Booth A126. The ATS800 is a next-generation laser tracking metrology solution that integrates high-accuracy direct scanning and reflector tracking into a single, portable system. Designed for large-scale and complex manufacturing environments, the solution enables accurate measurement of complex surfaces, fine features, and large structures from distances of up to 40 metres, significantly improving inspection speed, precision, and workflow efficiency.

Commenting on the launch, Pramod Kaushik, President, Hexagon India, said the introduction of the ATS800 reflects Hexagon’s commitment to India’s manufacturing transformation. “As Indian manufacturers move towards higher precision, larger assemblies, and digital quality workflows, the ATS800 provides a flexible and scalable metrology solution that enhances accuracy, productivity, and operational confidence,” he said.

Manoj Sharma, Director – Marketing and Sales Excellence, Hexagon India, added that India’s manufacturing ecosystem is evolving rapidly, creating demand for advanced yet practical quality solutions. “The ATS800 reinforces Hexagon’s focus on enabling Indian manufacturers to improve quality, productivity, and global competitiveness through advanced metrology,” he said.

The solution is suited for applications across aerospace, automotive, energy, heavy engineering, and large-scale fabrication, offering reduced inspection times, improved traceability, and seamless integration with automation systems, metrology software, and robotic platforms.  Hexagon’s participation at IMTEX Forming 2026 underlines its continued investment in the Indian market, supporting manufacturers with digital and metrology solutions that drive efficiency, quality, and global competitiveness.
