Ahmedabad, January 20, 2026: The 3rd International Conference on Futuristic Advancements in Materials, Manufacturing, and Thermal Sciences (ICFAMMT-2026) was successfully held from January 16–18 at IITRAM, Ahmedabad. The conference, jointly organized by IITRAM, IIT Roorkee, NIT Uttarakhand, and Space Applications Centre (SAC), ISRO, brought together researchers, academicians, and industry experts from India and abroad.
The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanraman, CEO, ANRF, as Chief Guest, and Prof. Gajanan P. Chaudhary, IIT Roorkee, as Guest of Honor, along with Prof. Pramod Kumar Jain and Prof. M. S. Barua, IITRAM. In his address, Dr. Kalyanraman highlighted government initiatives promoting technological innovation, while Prof. Jain emphasized the role of materials, manufacturing, and thermal sciences in building a Viksit Bharat.
Over three days, the conference witnessed 295 participants and 246 research paper presentations. The program included 11 keynote lectures and 19 invited talks from experts across Japan, Malaysia, the UK, and India, covering the latest trends and innovations in the field.
The event featured 29 technical sessions under four tracks—Design & Automation, Manufacturing Science, Materials & Metallurgy, and Thermal Engineering—all moderated by 27 distinguished session chairs. The valedictory function was attended by Prof. Ramesh Babu, IIT Madras, and Prof. Masahiro Motosuke, Tokyo University of Science, Japan, where Best Paper Awards were announced across all tracks.
ICFAMMT-2026 served as a global platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and showcasing cutting-edge research, reinforcing IITRAM’s role in shaping the future of materials, manufacturing, and thermal sciences.
