Ahmedabad : Actor Nakuul Mehta visited Ahmedabad during the International Kite Festival and Uttarayan celebrations, marking the occasion ahead of the premiere of his upcoming series Space Gen: Chandrayaan on JioHotstar. The visit brought together Gujarat’s cultural vibrancy and India’s scientific achievement, reflecting the core theme of the series.
As the city celebrated Uttarayan, Nakuul participated in kite flying festivities and interacted with fans, sharing his excitement for Space Gen: Chandrayaan, a series inspired by real events that traces the emotional and human journey behind India’s lunar missions—particularly the transition from the setback of Chandrayaan-2 to the landmark success of Chandrayaan-3.

During his visit, Nakuul also toured the Ahmedabad Flower Show, where a Chandrayaan rocket installation crafted entirely from flowers drew significant public attention. The installation stood as a tribute to India’s scientific progress and served as a moment of connection between the actor and fans, who gathered to share the occasion.
Speaking about his experience, Nakuul Mehta said, “Being in Gujarat during Uttarayan was incredibly special. It felt meaningful to bring Space Gen: Chandrayaan here at a time that celebrates new beginnings. The series is not just about space—it’s about resilience, learning from failure, and the determination that led to Chandrayaan-3. I’m proud to be associated with a story that reflects the spirit of India.”
He further added, “What drew me to this project was its focus on the people behind the mission—the scientists whose perseverance and teamwork made history possible. Their story deserves to be told, and I’m honoured to be part of a series that brings their journey to the forefront.”
Reflecting on the floral Chandrayaan installation, Nakuul noted, “Seeing the Chandrayaan rocket recreated with flowers was striking. It represents how deeply science is woven into our culture. Moments like these remind us that this achievement belongs to every Indian, and I hope the series inspires young audiences to dream big and believe in perseverance.”
