Following the directions of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Indian Air Force (IAF), under the South Western Air Command, is conducting the first Sanyukt Prashikshan joint training programme at Air Force Station Bhuj, popularly known as the Defenders of Kutch.
This landmark initiative focuses on a whole-of-nation approach, bringing together the Armed Forces and Civil Services to enhance coordination, mutual understanding, and operational integration. The joint training is aimed at improving preparedness for national security, disaster management, and emergency response operations.
The programme features a structured mix of expert lectures, tabletop exercises, and practical field drills, enabling participants to better understand inter-agency roles and responsibilities. Such integrated training helps strengthen joint planning, communication, and execution during real-world scenarios.
