Mumbai: Kisna Diamond and Gold Jewellery has achieved a historic milestone as the Kisna Diamond Marathon was officially recognised by Guinness World Records™ for organising a 5-kilometre race simultaneously across 55 cities in India on December 28, 2025. The prestigious recognition was formally conferred at a felicitation ceremony held on January 7, 2026, celebrating a landmark achievement in large-scale public participation and social engagement.
The marathon is a flagship initiative of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt Ltd, aligned with the national vision of Run for Swachh Bharat. Organised by Kisna Diamond Jewellery, a brand of the HK Group, the event successfully united participants from metropolitan centres, emerging cities, and rural regions, reinforcing the message of “Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat.”
The 10th edition of the Kisna Diamond Marathon witnessed participation from over 20,000 runners nationwide, supported by synchronised flag-offs, standardised race protocols, and seamless coordination across all 55 locations. The initiative continues to serve as a strong platform that integrates fitness, discipline, and social responsibility, while promoting community-driven cleanliness and wellness initiatives.
The HK Group expressed sincere appreciation to all runners, volunteers, city coordinators, partner organisations, and operational teams whose collective efforts made this achievement possible. The Group also acknowledged the presence and support of several distinguished dignitaries, including senior law enforcement officials, municipal commissioners, and respected leaders from the gems and jewellery industry.
Reflecting on the journey, Ghanshyambhai Dholakia, Founder and Chairman, HK Group, stated: “Inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, the Kisna Diamond Marathon began in 2016 with just 350 participants. Today, it spans 55 cities across the country. Achieving a Guinness World Record from India is not only a proud moment for HK Group, but also for the nation.”
Rooted in the values of unity, discipline, and social contribution, the Kisna Diamond Marathon continues to evolve as a meaningful national movement. By encouraging fitness, civic awareness, and collective participation, the initiative remains firmly aligned with the vision of building a cleaner, healthier, and more responsible India.
