Mumbai : Škoda Auto India has closed 2025 as the most successful year in its India operations, marking its 25th anniversary with record sales of 72,665 cars, a 107% year-on-year growth compared to 2024.
The strong performance was driven by a focused product offensive, led by the Kylaq, sustained demand for the Kodiaq, Kushaq and Slavia, and the return of the Octavia RS, which reinforced the brand’s performance positioning. Network expansion to 325+ customer touchpoints across 183 cities further supported growth and improved market access.
Commenting on the milestone year, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said, “The year 2025 holds special significance for us as it marks 25 years of Škoda in India and our strongest performance to date. With our most diverse product portfolio ever and the widest network presence we have achieved so far, this has truly been a defining year for the brand. The strong customer response to the Kylaq, sustained demand for the Kodiaq, and the enthusiastic reception to the return of the Octavia RS reflect the deep emotional connect customers have with Škoda. At the same time, Kushaq and Slavia—key pillars of our India 2.0 journey—continue to perform consistently. As we enter 2026, we aim to build on this momentum with a renewed product offensive, sharper sales and aftersales initiatives, and a continued focus on expanding our reach and strengthening customer relationships.”
During the year, the company crossed the milestone of 200,000 locally produced vehicles sold since 2021, reflecting the progress of its India 2.0 strategy. Škoda Auto India also strengthened its customer proposition through enhanced ownership benefits, a fully rebranded dealer network, and continued investments in sales and aftersales capabilities. As it enters 2026, Škoda Auto India plans to build on the momentum with new product introductions, deeper market penetration, and sharper customer-centric initiatives.
