Held under the theme “Viksit Gujarat Ki Raftaar,” the conclave echoed Gujarat’s long-term development roadmap Viksit Gujarat @2047, highlighting the automobile retail sector’s critical role in employment generation, MSME growth, and the transition towards sustainable mobility.

The conclave was inaugurated by Shri Rajesh R. A message from Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Harsh Sanghavi, read during the inaugural session, praised FADA’s contribution since 1964 and acknowledged the automobile dealer network as a key driver of financial inclusion, skilling, and grassroots economic activity. He noted that the conclave’s theme aptly reflected the sector’s role in converting policy vision into on-ground impact, while aligning with Gujarat’s push for sustainability and green mobility.

Speaking at the event, FADA President Mr. C. S. Vigneshwar described Gujarat as a “natural mobility hub,” citing its entrepreneurial culture and rapid adoption of EVs and hybrid vehicles. He also shared a significant industry update, noting that the Hon’ble Supreme Court has admitted FADA’s writ petition on the Compensation Cess issue and issued notice to the Government. Emphasising the need for future-ready dealerships, he highlighted skilling initiatives such as the FADA Academy.

The conclave featured focused knowledge sessions on dealership financial viability, vehicle registration reforms, GST compliance, and leadership lessons drawn from Operation Sindoor by Maj. Gen.
