Gandhinagar : The Dhirubhai Ambani University School of Law (DAU SoL) hosted the IndusAcX Summit 2025 – The Industry–Academia Exchange at its Gandhinagar campus, bringing together over 200 stakeholders from the legal profession, industry, policymaking and academia.
Held as part of Dhirubhai Ambani University’s silver jubilee celebrations, the Summit was positioned as a national platform to bridge gaps between academic research and industry practice, in line with India’s long-term development vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The Summit also marked the completion of the first year of operations of DAU School of Law, which has positioned itself as India’s only law school exclusively focused on Executive and Continuous Interdisciplinary Legal Education. The School caters primarily to working professionals through industry-aligned Executive Development Programmes (EDPs), alongside LLM and PhD programmes in emerging legal, regulatory, and policy domains.
IndusAcX 2025 saw participation from senior advocates of the Supreme Court of India and multiple High Courts, senior industry executives, policymakers, and academics from across the country. The Summit was inaugurated by Justice Hemant Prachchhak of the Gujarat High Court, while Dr. G. K. Goswami, IPS (Retd.), Founding Director of the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences, attended as the Special Guest of Honour.
Speaking at the Summit, Prof. Dr. Avinash Dadhich, Founding Director, DAU School of Law, said the initiative was designed to create structured engagement between academic institutions and industry practitioners to address evolving legal and regulatory challenges. He noted that the participation from diverse sectors reflected growing demand for practice-oriented legal education and policy dialogue.
The day-long programme featured 15 panel discussions and research paper presentations, along with a high-level industry conclave and a certificate presentation ceremony for participants of DAU School of Law’s Executive Development Programmes.
By focusing on applied learning, policy relevance, and sustained collaboration with industry, IndusAcX Summit 2025 reinforced DAU School of Law’s positioning as a hub for practice-driven legal and policy leadership, aligned with India’s next phase of economic and institutional growth.
