Kochi: The much-awaited trailer of Vrusshabha was unveiled at a grand launch event in Kochi, transforming the city into a celebration hub for fans of Mohanlal. The electrifying event marked the official beginning of the film’s promotional journey and set the tone for one of the biggest Pan-Indian releases slated for Christmas 2025.

The trailer launch was attended by the film’s lead cast Mohanlal, Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi and Nayan Sarika, along with director Nanda Kishore. Producers Varun Mathur, Abishek S. Vyas and Sanjay Dwivedi (Group CEO & CFO, Balaji Telefilms) were also present, adding to the scale and significance of the occasion.

2025 continues to be a defining year for Mohanlal, whose legacy and global appeal remain unmatched. The Vrusshabha trailer offers a gripping glimpse into an emotionally charged narrative unfolding across two timelines, rooted in the powerful and eternal bond between a father and son. At its heart, Vrusshabha is a story of love, destiny and sacrifice. Mohanlal delivers a striking dual performance—appearing as King Vijayendra Vrusshabha in the past and as a successful modern-day businessman haunted by memories of a previous life. His son, portrayed by Samarjit Lankesh, is drawn into these visions and must confront fear and fate to protect his father. The trailer teases high-impact action, intense drama and visually rich sequences, with Ragini Dwivedi seen in a fierce, action-oriented role, alongside Nayan Sarika, Ajay and Garuda Ram.

Producer Ektaa R. Kapoor described the film as a major milestone in Balaji Telefilms’ Pan-Indian journey, praising Mohanlal’s unmatched screen presence and commitment. Director Nanda Kishore added that the film connects hearts across time, calling the collaboration with Mohanlal a dream and highlighting the emergence of promising new talent.

Featuring music by Sam C.S. and sound design by Resul Pookutty, Vrusshabha is shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, with releases planned in Hindi and Kannada. The film promises a grand cinematic spectacle celebrating emotion, action and the unbreakable bond between a father and son.
