Ahmedabad : As winter sets in across Gujarat, Prayas Public Charitable Trust continued its commitment to child welfare by organising a Winter Sweater & Jacket Distribution Drive for underprivileged students of Thaltej Municipal School, a community Prayas supports through daily care and supplementary education.
Prayas has adopted approximately 100 children from the school, ensuring they receive holistic support—ranging from academic assistance to essential well-being needs. As part of its ongoing efforts, the Trust distributed 50–60 high-quality winter jackets, helping protect the children from the harsh seasonal temperatures.
Speaking about the initiative, Prachi Govil from Prayas emphasized that no child should be deprived of comfort, dignity, or basic necessities, especially during the winter months. The distribution drive not only brought visible joy to the children but also reinforced Prayas’ mission to create a nurturing and supportive environment for them.
