Ahmedabad : The Feline Club of India (FCI) today announced that it will host its largest-ever Cat Championship Show on 7 December 2025 at EKA Club, Kankaria, Ahmedabad. This marks FCI’s fourth show in Ahmedabad since 2022. The venue—recently used for the Filmfare Awards—will now welcome feline stars showcasing their elegance and charm.
FCI President Mr. Saquib Pathan said, “The show will feature an international judge evaluating more than 300 cats across breeds such as Persian, Bengal, Classic Long Hair, Exotic Short Hair, Maine Coon and many others. We are also proud to recognise and register the Indian stray breed as ‘INDIMAU’, encouraging their active participation in our shows.”
Adding to this, Mr. Zahid Khan highlighted that the event will offer an engaging experience for visitors, including interactive activities, a knowledge zone on cat care, and guidance from veterinary experts. Cat lovers will also have the opportunity to adopt cats through participating NGOs.
The exhibition will feature 50+ stalls from leading pet-care brands showcasing food, accessories, and services. The show will remain open to the public from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. FCI invites all feline enthusiasts and proud cat owners in Ahmedabad to attend and enjoy this unique celebration of the feline world.
