LOTTE launches Subak & Shark, India’s first of its kind Korean ice candies

Following the success of Lotte Krunch, Subak & Shark have achieved yet another milestone in the realm of ice cream innovation in India.

Delhi: LOTTE India Corporation Ltd. has introduced a new product innovation to the Indian ice cream market with the launch of Subak & Shark. Drawing inspiration from Korea’s vibrant imagination and tailored to Indian preferences, these unique ice candies feature refreshing flavours, slushy textures, and playful shapes that are sure to delight consumers of all ages—kids, teens, and adults alike. This launch represents a significant milestone in India’s ice cream category, following the successful introduction of Lotte Krunch (India’s first Korean four-layered ice cream bar), and further emphasizes LOTTE’s dedication to providing bold, refreshing, and K-Cool product experiences for Indian consumers.

 

Inspired by Korea’s imagination and bold pop culture, Subak & Shark are not just ice candies; they are slush candies that make every bite an experience. Subak (which means watermelon in Korean) combines juicy watermelon and strawberry flavours with crunchy chocolate-coated peanut “seeds” in a slice-shaped design. Shark delivers a dual orange–strawberry fusion in a striking shark shape, turning experience into playful engagement.

 

To amplify the launch, a vibrant K-culture campaign—blending K-pop energy with anime storytelling and built on the thought of ‘Refreshingly K-Cool’—highlights a candy experience that refreshes you. It brings the Subak & Shark world alive through 10 digital assets.
