Ahmedabad: Calorx Olive International School proudly hosted a significant occasion, merging the Sci-Math Innovation Fair with the Global University Fair 2025. This event drew in more than 500 students and 200 parents from Ahmedabad and its neighboring regions.
The event showcased over 90 esteemed universities from India and around the world, providing students with direct access to global higher education opportunities. Additionally, the Sci-Math Innovation Fair highlighted inventive, problem-solving projects created by students, merging academic rigor with practical application.
One of the standout features of the event was the groundbreaking robot created by Aarav Patel, which captivated the attention of both visitors and dignitaries.
Dr. Vrajesh Parikh, Educationist, Environmentalist, and STEM Mentor, expressed his amazement, saying: “The creativity and technical excellence displayed by these young minds are extraordinary. If nurtured well, they can shape solutions that the world desperately needs.” Dr. Parikh also presented the STEM Star Award to two outstanding student innovators from the school.
Wing Commander A.K. Tiwari, Public Relations Officer and Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, shared insights on the importance of applying innovation in real-life scenarios. He commended the students who represented India and made the nation proud at the international robotics competition, and personally felicitated them.
Ankur Upadhyay, Head of School, voiced both concern and commitment, stating: As an IB school, we believe in bridging the classroom with the real world, empowering students to apply their learning to authentic challenges. I aim to collaborate with institutions like Science City and the Defence sector to create meaningful, hands-on experiences that nurture innovation, resilience, and global citizenship—preparing our youth to shape a better, stronger India.
